More About Eric
Eric Alby is a partner on the CFIPerennial team focused on diversifying investments, including credit investments, and designing quantitative strategies, including structuring derivatives across multiple asset classes.
Prior to joining CFI Eric was a managing director at Macquarie Bank responsible for the quantitative investment strategies business in the United States. Before that, Eric was a managing director at Morgan Stanley where he was most recently head of financial engineering and structuring for derivative products within the bank’s Institutional Equities Division. Eric was also a senior structurer within the CLO and Structured Credit groups for Morgan Stanley in London and Hong Kong.
Eric graduated with an MS in engineering economic systems and operations research from Stanford University and an engineering degree from École Polytechnique in Paris. Eric lives in New York City, but was born in France and during his career worked in London and Hong Kong. He enjoys playing the piano and tennis in his free time.
