More About Kristine
Kristine Lipscomb is a partner on the Go-to-Market (GTM) team leading strategy, planning, and business operations. Prior to moving into this role, Kristine interacted on behalf of the firm with the banking and financial services network to help facilitate connections and opportunities in the fintech and enterprise portfolio. Kristine joined Andreessen Horowitz in 2019.
Before joining Andreessen Horowitz, Kristine held
multiple roles at HSBC, most recently as an SVP leading strategy and
transformation across the global banking and markets business. In this role, she
worked internally with local and global leadership as well as with large
international clients on the definition, design, and execution of operational
and technology-related initiatives to drive efficiencies and growth. Prior to
her time at HSBC, Kristine spent several years at Accenture in strategy and
technology across public service and capital markets.
Kristine graduated from the University of
Virginia with a degree in mechanical engineering with focuses in aerospace
engineering and business. Kristine currently sits on the Board of Trustees for
the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at UVA and also sits on the board
of Research Corporation for Scientific Advancement, the second-oldest foundation
in the country. Kristine lives in Connecticut with her husband, two daughters,
and two dogs and runs marathons and plays tennis in her spare time.
